The Ion Empire

Where it all comes together

Some common questions:

Who are you?

There is a reason people don't like graphics. They take forever to load. They also take forever to make, so be patient! We'll have the slow stuff later. But, right now, we're just starting up. With a new power behind us, we plan to show the world what the Empire can do. So, step up and join the us, for your one chance to be a member of the empire. We need allies in the war against those who would try to stop us.

What are you here for?

Oh, by the way, if your new to the concept of the Ion Empire, we are very STRONG supporters of the MPEG and MP(X) compression standards. All sounds here are MP3, and legal. All video is MPEG4, also legal.

What can I do?

We want the world to hear us, and to give the PEOPLE the power. So, cast your vote below, and send a lovely letter to your representative in congress, telling them to support the MPEG standards, or to start reading the "help wanted" ads. And always remeber, if someone gives you a stiff lip, give em one back, and tell em "Who's your daddy?"

Our current funding sources are:

Thanx to ya all (even those MS guys).

Goodies!!!!!!!! (MP3, MPEG4)

As I said, we are still workin' hard. But hey, we DO have stuff for you.

MP3

If you think the selection sucks, then keep it to yourself. We know it sucks, but we didn't have much time to throw this together, and the links won't work until 06/08/1999, so PLEASE DON"T CLICK UNTIL THEN! We will add more when we can.

MPEG4

We don't got none yet, but we're workin' on it! Submit something, why don't you?

Legal Stuffs

All non-Ion trademarks are property of their respective owners (of course!)

All music was ripped and encoded at StarFleet Studios by skilled, uh, people. The CD's they were pulled from were purchased for the full price from various distributions outlets (Wal-Mart, K-Mart, CDNow, Amazon.com), and are property of their creators (original, not us). Do NOT sell them, or use them for profit, or we will hunt you down and give you a VERY bad wedgie!

We DID pay for our copy of Windows 98 SE, so don't even try to blame that piracy stuff on us, Bill. We love you guys, and gave you credit, so back off, huh? Just kiddin'! Thanks for all the soft stuff, MS! It is (according to the license agreements,) all yours anyway.

Cyber Connextions provided the computers, time, and money (even though they don't know it yet) so buy something from them, k?
